ELECTION MONITORING

Specialized training for election monitoring in the AES setting are conducted for pollwatchers, adjusted to the tactical differences between manual and electronic voting. VoteReportPH also implements a web-based fraud and error monitoring tool using the crowdsourcing platform Ushahidi (crowdsourcing is a means of delegating a complex task to a “crowd” of volunteers), where volunteers from precincts nationwide will report in real-time all documented cases of fraud and technical errors to the website, where their reports will already be visualized.
